Thai Foot Massage

Thai massage is based on Ayurvedic medicine and yoga and has been handed down through the centuries. It is thought that it may have arrived in Thailand at the same time as Buddism. Thai massage is becoming increasingly popular in the West.

The massage is very beneficial for improving circulation, flexibility and muscle tome. It can perform a role in repairing damaged tissue, stiffness and soreness, such as arthritis which affect mobility. It also encourages lymphatic draining, detoxification of the body, boosting the immune system and helps prevent injury by ensuring that the joints are flexible and supple.

The Thai Foot Massage course incorporates a combination of acupressure, energy meridian work, plus elements of shiatsu and reflexology. You will learn the relevant anatomy and also the theory behind the movements.
