About the course:
Indian Head Massage evolved in the homes and barbers shops of India over many thousands of years. It is part of the Ayurvedic tradition and is widely practiced today.
 
This massage is usually received clothed, although the shoulders can be bare. It treats not only the head but also the upper back, shoulders, arms, face and head. Indian Head massage is received seated on a comfortable chair.
 
This course covers the history of Indian Head Massage which has only been practiced in the western world for about 30 years. You will learn about the benefits of the massage so that you can market your treatment effectively. The Indian Head massage course covers the relevant anatomy, but the majority of time will be spent on the routine itself. The massage involves various strokes and techniques that are traditionally accepted. The routine also includes some more modern movements specifically designed for computer stress.
